Public Relations Manager, Amazon Ads Comms

Full Job Description


Amazon is seeking an experienced public relations professional to join our global team and drive international events and product communications for Amazon Ads. Amazon Ads is innovating to help brands of all sizes reach relevant audiences in our stores and on our streaming services, apps, devices and across the web to help grow their businesses through delightful customer experiences.

As an International PR Manager, you will be responsible for defining and, with the support of local PR teams, executing event and product launch strategies outside of the US, including strategic planning, executive and stakeholder management, creation of launch materials, and scaling programs to reach a global, diverse audience set., Execute international event and product launch strategies
- Drive media engagement and storytelling across earned and owned channels
- Develop campaign toolkit and bill of assets for in-country comms leads, overseeing localization and execution
- Manage executive speaking opportunities and media engagement
- Provide strategic PR counsel to business leaders
- Work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders, including internal comms partners, marketing and business teams, international stakeholders, and WW PR agencies
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges

The successful candidate is customer-obsessed with high judgment. They are exemplary written and verbal communicators, with exceptional project management skills. The candidate should have experience working with high standards under tight deadlines, and a proven track record of earning trust from internal and external stakeholders., Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field, Advertising industry PR experience
- International work experience, including with media across multiple regions
- Project management experience
- A passion for building, experimentation, and big creative thinking
