Come and be a part of Amazon's dynamic Live Sports Production Team! We are looking for a Production Coordinator to support the Production Operations team on live event productions across multiple sports properties.

The Production Operations team is responsible for delivering high quality event productions on all global live sports properties to customers worldwide, across all Prime Video product lines and devices. We also support our productions through process improvements, scalability, and various initiatives. We work on designing solutions (tools and mechanisms) to manage and support productions globally so our team can work more efficiently and continue to scale.

Key job responsibilities
You will use your production management and operational experience to support new property launches and year-over-year sports property restarts. You will assist and support the day-to-day operations of event logistics, production content, and business operations. You will work closely with the Production Managers and Production Operations team to ensure the property lifecycles are on track. You will learn and implement best practices and Amazon policies across projects to maintain effective workflows and delivery of projects, and maintain alignment across territories and department.

The Production Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the Operations team in the planning phases of all event production, and ensure production plans are executed at a high bar and within budget. You will act as a liaison and interface and collaborate with colleagues, cross-functional teams, Production and Technical Vendors and help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical. The successful candidate thinks strategically, can handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines in an ambiguous and highly pressurized environment. The successful candidate optimizes cross team processes and assists in ongoing process improvements. The projects supported by the team have significant impact, technical complexity, and high visibility within Prime Video.

A day in the life
You will assist with pre-production planning and provide administrative assistance in whatever capacity is needed. You may be required to assume on-site roles to support live events gaining in-depth experience to enhance your role as a Production Coordinator. You will be responsible for assessing cost standards and maintaining production budgets, assisting in the reconciling and administration of purchase orders and invoices.

Experience of working in production management or production operations at a broadcast network or production company.

- Experience managing events / meetings and project budgets, inclusive of budget tracking, cost reporting and invoice approvals.

- Proficiency in Excel and Project Management software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in supporting launches and delivering results in a live sports production coordinator role; broadcast or remote production experience assisting in overseeing 100+ personnel on high profile/large-scale events.

- Experience working with production vendors, live production crews/personnel, and broadcast media partners
- Basic knowledge and understanding on procurement of technical and broadcast equipment to execute event production; and basic understanding of interpreting production service agreements, statements of work, and commercial contracts
