Workflow and UI Automation Developer - LATAM

Who You Are: We are looking for a skilled developer to create and maintain automations and integrations within our HubSpot and n8n environment. You will work directly under the TPM who will provide architecture, designs, requirements, and strategy to build reliable, transparent, and efficient automations. You must have experience with HubSpot's new Developer Platform (Projects, Apps, APIs, UI Extensions) along with core n8n automation tools . Strong experience in integrating third party APIs (industry standards and custom internal tools) with React + JavaScript/TypeScript, webhooks, and Automation Nodes is also a must to perform well in this role. Graph QL and AI engineering (developing with AI and building automations that use AI) strongly preferred. What You Will Do: • Build and maintain automations and integrations in HubSpot and n8n based on specifications provided using Custom Code or Workflow Actions to handle logic that native nodes cannot. • Build and maintain custom UI extensions using HubSpot's new Developer Platform. • Provide documentation on solutions you build • Assist the TPM in investigating and resolving escalated support tickets. • Provide assistance in quality assurance, testing, and debugging when requested. • Work with team members to understand and build in the eco-system • Participate in Meetings or Team Activities when required Our Tech Stack: • HubSpot • Our HubSpot is sophisticated with many custom objects and workflows that drive our business across the entire organization. We utilize HubSpot's newest features and beta programs. Staying up to date on HubSpot's tools and building without breaking other aspects of the HubSpot ecosystem are essential to performing well in this role. • You will build and maintain Custom UI Extensions using React • Automation: n8n (Cloud) • When HubSpot workflows are not able to deliver what is needed, we use n8n for automations. In addition to HubSpot workflows, this will be the main tool you will use for backend processing. • Languages: React + JavaScript/TypeScript and JSON • We keep things as simple as possible in a microservices-type architecture. We prefer using React + JavaScript/TypeScript native features and using AI to generate code where needed instead of installing a ton of libraries. • We use HubSpots Custom UI Extensions and Components to build custom cards directly in the HubSpot interface. Requirements What Skills You Need: • The "Builder" Mindset: You are happy receiving a clear set of requirements and turning them into working automations, code, and UI extensions. You ask questions and get answers when requirements are unclear. You focus on building simple solutions that solve business problems with clear monitoring and reporting. • Technical Proficiency: • 1-2 years experience developing in HubSpot. • Strong knowledge and experience in building HubSpot Workflows and utilizing their API for CRUD and Batch operations. • Strong proficiency in n8n (JSON, data transformation, and core nodes). • Solid grasp of building and maintaining JavaScript/TypeScript functions in automation nodes and webhook frameworks. • Strong proficiency in React development and rendering lifecycle. • Candidates with experience in building with AI will be preferred. • Communication: You can clearly communicate progress, blockers, and implementation details to a technical manager using Jira and Slack. You actively communicate and get answers when you are blocked or do not have clear requirements. You make reasonably accurate estimations of your deadlines for completion.
