US Contracts Technical Proposal Writer (Fully Remote)

Job Title US Government Contracts Technical Proposal Writer Omm IT Solutions (Omm Inc. www.ommincorp.com) is looking for a talented & highly motivated US Government Contracts Technical Proposal Writer to work from home / 100% remote, located anywhere in India. Work hours are 800 am to 500 pm US Eastern Time (Mon Fri). Selected candidate will develop compelling proposals in response to various Government solicitations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional researching, writing, communication, planning, and presentation skills to create concise, persuasive proposals under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to drive quality into proposals to increase the probability of winning the contracts. Role Responsibilities • Reviewing and understanding US Federal Government RFPs, RFIs, RFQs or other solicitation documentation for response requirements • Organizing and presenting clear, persuasive content either from researching through websites, blogs, forums etc. or by obtaining and translating input from subject matter experts (SMEs) and other resources into proposal text • Developing original content for proposals, leveraging capture information and using proposal processes and tools • Developing Compliance Matrix, Requirement Matrix, Proposal Schedule, Cross Referencing Matrix, GAP Analysis Matrix & annotated outlines • Conceptualizing and documenting proposals technical solution, technical approach and IT task responses • Developing past performance and other section format/templates in accordance with the RFP requirements and scope specific to each proposal effort • Managing and coordinating data calls to and from teaming partners and internal contributors • Ensuring that the spellings and grammar used in sentences are in accordance with the US communication style • Ensuring proposals are concise, well-written, compliant with the requirements, and positioned appropriately as per the Company's value proposition • Creating technology related white-papers, case studies, success stories, product presentations, and other artifacts for technical and non-technical audiences including customers, C-level executives, industry analysts, etc. • Managing past performance database and maintaining other proposal content & templates for reuse • Converting complex technical concepts into simple, impactful and easy to understand messages that project value to non-technical audiences • Providing leadership and direction for proposals, including schedules, templates, compliance, content planning, and production • Providing conceptual leadership for document design, while ensuring RFP instructions and internal brand guidelines pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed • Participating in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal • Facilitating pink and red team, quality reviews, and applies lessons learned to add value to proposals • Managing the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams • Writing and editing tailored executive summaries, resumes, experience, past performance, and management sections for proposals • Supporting debriefs and gathering of client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement • Supporting special projects, as required Requirements • Understands US government contract terms & jargons, quickly understand the technical RFPs, RFIs & be able to write persuasive proposals responses by mapping with the company's service offerings and aligning with the business requirements • Must have prior experience in writing proposal responses for US government contracts • Fair understanding & skilled in researching various IT domains and technologies • Can work without supervision in a home office set-up without any distractions • Must be a team player • Excellent written and verbal English communication & presentation skills • Innovative & attitude to find answers and solutions • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel & Word • Excellent organizational skills • Detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks • Understands the importance of safeguarding all critical data, information, and communication • Multitasking ability with strong time management skills, ability to work under tight deadline • Must have excellent Research & Analytical skills • Must have high-speed Internet connection (Min. 50 Mbps) and a laptop or a desktop (Min. 8 GB RAM & Win 10 OS) Benefits • Base pay • Quarterly performance awards • Annual appraisals & increments • 10 Holidays per calendar year • 10 Vacation Days per year.
