Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests, routine maintenance, and detailed repairs on heavy trucks and trailers

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform required adjustments or replacements (e.g., brakes, transmissions, engines, axles)

  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet DOT standards

  • Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and maintain detailed service records

  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations team to schedule timely maintenance

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety and maintenance procedures

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Automotive Service Technician, or a related field

  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in truck or heavy-duty equipment maintenance

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced commercial trucking or fleet environment preferred

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call duties may be required depending on operational demands
