Treasury Coordinator

Job Summary The Treasury Coordinator reports to the Treasury Coordinator – Manager and is responsible for providing high quality service to commercial relationships. Along with the key functions listed below, this deposit position will be expected to uphold the value that WaFd Bank places on simply being kind when servicing our co-workers and clients. Coordinator – Primary Responsibilities • Provides exceptional customer service to commercial deposit customers and the internal business lines in the execution of all assigned duties • Regularly maintain commercial deposit client documentation in order to meet audit and bank standards, including account openings. • Drive consistency in treasury management documentation such as updating service agreements. • Seek resolution for operational issues to customer's complete satisfaction and escalate systematic issues as encountered. • Keep Relationship Managers and Treasury Relationship Managers apprised of critical developments in commercial customer relationships. • Complete a review of the daily Check and ACH Pay/Returns decisions for commercial deposit customers and escalate to Relationship Managers or Treasury Relationship Managers when necessary. • Review commercial account deposit hold request and escalate to Relationship Managers when needed. • Assist customers with out of branch wire requests, internal account transfer requests, stop payment requests and custom deposit reports requests. • Review daily commercial deposit reports, including overdraft reports and inactive account reports. • Manage commercial deposit customers daily chargeback notifications. • Closely adhere to the Bank's Information Security policies and procedures. • Liaisons with clients to assist internal partners in gathering complete documentation required to establish and maintain new accounts including the preparation, control and maintenance of Know Your Client (KYC) for moderate to complex entities for new and existing clients. • Maintains excellent working relationships with team members including, Relationship Managers, Treasury Officers, Division Managers and Regional Presidents. • Provides direction where appropriate to the commercial team on effective deposit-related processes and procedures and critical developments in commercial customer relationships. • Adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations. • Perform tasks that affect the Bank's compliance with federal and/or state regulations. Qualifications • High School diploma or approved equivalent. • 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Banking, preferred. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective analytical skills, and organizational skills. • Candidate should be able to accept instruction, prioritize, follow-through on work assignments with minimal supervision, and be able to work in a team and remote work environment. • Excellent relationship building skills. • Working knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to this position. • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications and electronic communication systems.
