Job Description

Silverthorne Advisory Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting operations for a growing data, cloud engineering, management and IT consulting firm. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across corporate, consulting, technical positions. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator, understands the pace and compliance expectations of the federal consulting environment, and can build strong candidate pipelines for hiring initiatives. We are looking for a driven recruiting professional seeking increased leadership responsibility, strategic visibility, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on organizational growth. This role provides an opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate, technical, and professional services roles.
    • Coordinate with Security, IT, and HR for candidate onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, priorities, and desired candidate qualifications.
  • Create, update, and publish technical job descriptions across recruiting platforms and internal systems.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, CareerPlug, Clearance Jobs, Stack Overflow, Git, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and initial interviews to evaluate qualifications, communication skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, acceptance rate, candidate pipeline activity, early turnover, hiring manager satisfaction, and other quality metrics.
  • Ensure hiring practices align with company policies, employment laws, and equal opportunity requirements.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Draft client ready candidate summaries to hiring directors.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or HR experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience with sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to understand and explain data engineering, accounting, or advisory job requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

  • Strong candidate evaluation skills with a process to screen and identify technical capability, communications, consulting presence, cultural fit, and client readiness.
  • Strong desire to fill staffing needs with the right talent, not simply provide resumes.
