Substitute School Nurse

<strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>LPN </li><li>Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing with a current good standing Tennessee Practical Nursing License or other legal credential required</li><li>Current certification in CPR BLS for Healthcare Provider</li><li>3 years of nursing experience (pediatric experience is a plus)</li><li>Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable</li><li>Critical thinking skills</li><li>Overseeing medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of healthcare plans</li><li>Overseeing vision, hearing, body mass index, and mental health screening procedures</li><li>Proficiency in enteral feedings, catheterizations, and diabetic monitoring preferred</li><li>Physical ability to endure extended periods of standing, walking, running, sitting and/or stair climbing.
