Acting as their trusted financial partner, you'll lead client meetings, review your team's work, and ensure seamless execution of accounting processes. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that combines leadership, problem-solving, and industry expertise.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage a book of 15 to 30 construction clients, ensuring all financial processes run smoothly and on time.</li><li>Prepare and present monthly and year-end financial statements, job costing, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports.</li><li>Oversee, mentor, and support bookkeeping/admin assistants to ensure quality and efficiency.</li><li>Implement and maintain advanced controller services such as online bill pay, invoicing, KPI tracking, and monthly WIP reporting.</li><li>Lead client meetings with confidence, translating complex accounting data into actionable insights.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve client accounting challenges, often on tight timelines.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA a strong plus).</li><li>Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in construction accounting preferred.</li><li>Experience in both public accounting (CPA firm) and working directly for construction companies is highly valued.</li><li>Skilled in QuickBooks Online (minimum 3 years).</li><li>Strong client relationship and communication skills, able to build trust and explain financials clearly.</li><li>Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously without sacrificing quality.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Salary & Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Full time, fully remote work. </li><li>Flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.</li><li>Competitive salary range at $80,000 to $110,000 per year (based on experience)</li><li>Paid Health Benefits for employees</li><li>401(k) Plan with company match</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) plus all federal holidays recognized</li><li>No Nights or Weekends, we value work-life balance</li><li>Company-Provided Equipment.
