Sr Account Executive, U4B Mid Market (Sales Plan)

About the role and team

Uber for Business (U4B) is rapidly expanding and positioned as our next star market. As a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive, your mission is to build the Uber community within business organizations from the ground up. This is a "hunter" role in a startup-like environment where you won't just follow a playbook-you'll help write it. You will identify and acquire new business opportunities, turning "nice-to-have" services into essential infrastructure for companies with fewer than 2,000 employees.

The work is high-velocity and requires deep resilience. You will face constant rejection and high-pressure stakes, but you'll also have the autonomy to craft winning narratives that displace legacy systems. This role is about more than just hitting a quota; it's about having a builder's mindset and the grit to navigate a highly dynamic, fast-paced market. If you are a self-initiating individual who is energized by the challenge of 0-to-100 pipeline management and motivated by real-world impact, this is where you'll grow.

What you'll do

  • Plan, strategize, and execute a semi-annual GTM plan to achieve and exceed quotas within the Mid-Market segment.
  • Identify prospect pain points and craft winning narratives to expand lead generation and drive product adoption.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end sales motion for corporate customers, including qualification, education, pricing, contract negotiation, and launch.
  • Prioritize high-value leads and locate key decision-makers with speed to maintain high sales velocity.
  • Manage a mature pipeline and forecast structure, utilizing a rigorous sales cadence to provide accurate projections to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure every account launch is seamless and impactful.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in tech solutions or platform sales.
  • Demonstrated success in 0-100 pipeline management and driving new business acquisitions.
  • Proven track record of value-based selling and crafting narratives for "nice-to-have" products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a hunter role within a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
  • High level of self-discipline and a resilient "hustler" mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders throughout a complex sales cycle.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and a passion for helping businesses move forward through technology.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage and forecast sales activity.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.
