About the Role:

Amber Labs is seeking a highly experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead and optimise service operations for a prestigious central government client. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing consultancy that delivers cutting-edge digital transformation across the public sector.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of mission-critical IT services, driving service excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll work closely with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders to uphold SLAs, manage risks, and continuously improve service performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage end-to-end service delivery across complex government programmes
  • Lead monthly service reviews, performance reporting, and client engagement
  • Ensure SLA compliance and proactively resolve service issues and risks
  • Collaborate with project teams to support service transition and early life support
  • Manage support teams (2nd/3rd line), ensuring high-quality incident and problem resolution
  • Drive continual improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction
  • Support financial management, contract changes, and service catalogue updates
  • Deputise for Service Directors when required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in IT Service Management within government or regulated sectors
  • Strong experience with ITIL frameworks, service transition, and acceptance into service
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
  • Experience managing cloud transitions and hybrid infrastructure services

This role at Amber Labs is a 12 Month salary based FTC position, and all employees are required to hold active SC Clearance. Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.

In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
