Service Assistant Full Time & Part-Time

About the position

Maggiano's Little Italy is seeking enthusiastic Bussers for both full-time and part-time opportunities. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in assisting the service team to ensure that our guests receive the best possible dining experience. This position requires a friendly and courteous demeanor, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring that tables are kept free of dirty dishes and debris. Your contributions will help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the family culture of Maggiano's. In this role, you will be expected to perform various essential functions, including refilling water glasses, maintaining silverware service, and completing side work as assigned. You will work closely with the service team to provide team service as instructed by the team leader or manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of full-service restaurant bus experience or equivalent, and must be able to safely transport containers weighing up to 30 lbs. You will also need to stand and/or walk for an entire shift and navigate slick and uneven surfaces within the restaurant. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
