We are excited to find a great Senior Systems Administrator! PURPOSE: The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing the organization\'s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and various systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in systems administration, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of IT best practices to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all IT resources within the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems Administration : Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization\'s server infrastructure (Windows, Linux knowledge helpful) and ensure system performance, availability, and security. Network Management : Configure, monitor, and support networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal network connectivity. Server Management : Administer and manage the organization\'s virtualized server environment, including storage and backup solutions. Security & Compliance : Implement, maintain, and enhance security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to protect the company\'s systems from vulnerabilities and cyber threats. Disaster Recovery & Backup : Manage backup systems and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity, redundancy, and compliance with company policies. System Monitoring & Optimization : Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify performance issues, analyze logs, and provide solutions to ensure stability. Technical Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. (~30%) Upgrades & Implementations : Lead the planning, deployment, and upgrade of IT infrastructure hardware, ensuring minimal disruption to the business. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration. IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus. Experience with enterprise-level infrastructures. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience with collaboration tools like Zoom, Microsoft 365, Monday.com... Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS. Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
