Senior Associate, Client Accounting Services

<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Associate, CAS  </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Department: </strong>Client Accounting Services (CAS)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote</p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Successful candidates should have the following:</b><ul> <li>2-5 years of accounting, accounts payable, and/or bookkeeping experience.</li> <li>Ability to track and understand partnership investments.</li> <li>Ability to understand and accurately record brokerage transactions. </li> <li>Strong understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and financial analysis skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Exceptional organizational and project management skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members as needed.</li> <li>Experience with QuickBooks, <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://Bill.com" class="postings-link">Bill.com</a>, Xero, and Gusto is a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/ OCBOA) and annual tax compliance is a plus. </li> <li>The ability to train and manage staff is a plus.</li> <li>Public Accounting experience is a plus.</li> </ul><p><br></p><b> Responsibilities:</b><ul> <li>Coordinate accounting functions and programs.</li> <li>Prepare financial work papers and reports.</li> <li>Assist with monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling financial accounts and Accounts Payable.</li> <li>Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts as required.</li> <li>Prepare annual compliance reports: 1099s, City Tax, etc.</li> <li>Prepare financial statements, including a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and other Ad Hoc reports.</li> <li>Coordinate financial statement preparation and supporting documents for annual tax preparation and quarterly extension payments.</li> <li>Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and non-compliance issues by communicating with all levels of management, clients, and third parties.</li> <li>Contribute to developing new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.</li> <li>Perform other accounting research, accounting duties, and supporting staff as required or assigned additional training staff</li> </ul><p><br></p><b> Educational Requirements:</b><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline).</li> </ul><p><br></p><p></p> <div>$75,000 - $95,000 a year</div><small><div><em>The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $95,000.
