About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join Tan'ck Architect' as an Senior Architectural Designer. In this full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative architectural projects. As an Senior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for translating the company's design vision into reality that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with the project team to develop conceptual designs and schematic architectural plans, and detailed drawings.
  • Preparing schematic drawings, technical drawings, renderings, and 3D models to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Conducting site analyses and feasibility studies as part of the design process.
  • Coordinating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and industry regulations.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's design processes, ideas and standards.
What we're looking for
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in architectural design, in a professional firm setting.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Good Presentation Skill and able to produce impressive Architectural Design Presentation.
  • Able to carry out and complete tasks on a timely basis;
  • Knowledge of technical skills in areas like construction detailing, building systems, and code compliance
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
  • A passion for architecture and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative designs
  • Experience in designing high rises and commercial projects and work independently, including coordination of works with other consultants
