Risk Control Analyst – Mandarin Speaker (Work in Office)

Office Location: Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur Working Hours: 4-day work week/ 3day off, 8AM - 8PM(Morning)/ 8PM - 8AM(Night)

Salary Range: RM5,000 – RM6,000 (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

The Risk Control Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential operational and fraud-related risks within the platform environment. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify suspicious patterns from large volumes of transactional data. The candidate should be able to independently conduct investigations, prepare risk assessment reports, and maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily platform operational data to identify abnormal transactions and potential risks
  • Analyze large volumes of data to detect suspicious activities, fraud, or policy violations
  • Conduct investigations and assessments on suspicious accounts and high-risk activities
  • Prepare risk analysis reports and recommend improvement plans and control measures
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement risk prevention strategies and optimize monitoring processes
  • Stay updated on industry fraud methods and emerging risk trends to strengthen overall risk management capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Strong observation skills with excellent logical thinking and analytical ability
  • Good understanding of fraud prevention methods and risk management practices
  • Basic data analysis skills with the ability to identify irregularities and trends from large datasets
  • Strong principles, high integrity, and strong sense of confidentiality
  • Able to independently prepare risk assessment reports and provide practical recommendations
  • Proficient in Excel or other relevant data analysis tools is preferred
  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to support communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in risk control, fraud detection, compliance, payment operations, or related fields
  • Familiar with SQL, BI tools, or data visualization platforms
  • Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
