[Remote] Sr Manager of SEO

The Senior Manager of SEO will serve as a strategic partner to the Director of SEO, leading initiatives and managing the SEO team to enhance performance and address client challenges. Responsibilities Partner with the Director of SEO on department-level planning, OKRs, and roadmap execution Lead high-impact initiatives such as automation, AI integration, workstream development, efficiency improvements, and new service rollouts Identify and lead process adjustments and needs for the SEO Department Analyze organic traffic and SEO trends and develop forward-thinking SEO strategies across content, technical, and deliverables in SEO Serve as a mentor and escalation point for SEO department Managers, Consultants, and Specialists Address and resolve client challenges, including de-escalating issues Lead playbook and upskill development for the SEO department Help evaluate team and department performance to make recommendations on improvements and opportunities for growth Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry conferences and OEM meetings, contributing thought leadership and strategic insights Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including Development, Product, Design, Digital Advertising, and more Oversee a team of SEO Consultants and accounts Manage Interviews and New Hire Onboarding Skills Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience Minimum of 6 years SEO experience 10 years management experience Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) Experience with SEO/Site auditing tools (Screaming Frog) Excellent content writing and editing ability Proficient in Microsoft Tool Suite (Excel and Word) Proficient in Google Analytics and data analysis Advanced experience in Local SEO Advanced HTML and CSS knowledge Experience in the automotive field PR and outreach experience Experience managing processes for a large team of SEO Consultants Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Company matched 401K plan Flexible PTO + Sick Leave 6 weeks paid Parental Leave 8 Paid National Holidays Company-paid basic Life Insurance Voluntary supplemental Life Insurance Voluntary long-term/short-term disability insurance Voluntary Pet Insurance Optional Healthcare/Dependent Care FSA Account Company Overview Car dealers using DealerOn’s websites and marketing services generate more leads and sell more cars than ever before.
