[Remote] Sr Manager, Global Accounts Payable

The Senior Manager, Global Accounts Payable will oversee the organization’s accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing of invoices and payments while leading a global team. This role involves optimizing processes and collaborating with various finance teams to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Define and execute the strategic vision for the global Accounts Payable function, aligning operations with financial and organizational goals Lead and manage a global AP team of 30+ professionals across multiple regions Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close activities Optimize AP processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance Drive automation, system enhancements, and workflow improvements across AP operations Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payments Review and approve complex or high-value payments and resolve escalated vendor queries Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements related to AP processes Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Treasury teams to improve operational alignment Deliver insights and recommendations to Finance leadership on AP performance, trends, and cost-saving opportunities Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 10+ years of experience managing accounts payable operations or related finance functions such as General Ledger in complex or global organizations Hands-on experience working with accounts payable systems, ERP platforms, and finance automation initiatives 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams in a global or multi-regional environment Proven experience establishing and maintaining internal controls, compliance frameworks, and operational improvements Experience supporting finance transformation, system implementations, or operational efficiency initiatives Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance frameworks relevant to Accounts Payable Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and integrity Strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency Professional proficiency in English is required Ability to work across U.S. business hours and time zones and operate effectively in a remote working environment with reliable internet connectivity Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent are preferred Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP or similar enterprise platforms) is beneficial Company Overview NTT Global Data Centers is a division of NTT DATA.
