The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for translating operational and customer requirements into product specifications, working with engineering teams to deliver new capabilities, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance asset performance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Translating operational and customer requirements into clear product requirements and user stories Working with engineering and technical teams to define and deliver new capabilities Supporting roadmap development and product prioritization Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities Helping shape products focused on asset performance, maintenance, operational efficiency, and analytics Skills Experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or a similar product-focused role Experience working within SaaS, analytics, IoT, or technology-enabled platforms Strong product management fundamentals across roadmap development, prioritization, requirements gathering, and cross-functional delivery Experience translating operational, technical, or customer requirements into product capabilities Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, customer-facing teams, and senior stakeholders 10 years+ of hands-on experience in HVAC/R system design, installation, or service, commercial facility management and maintenance operations or building automation systems (BAS/EMS) Deep understanding of how multi-site facility management teams, in-house technicians, and third-party service contractors operate, including dispatch workflows, work order management, preventive maintenance programs, and capital planning cycles Demonstrated experience collecting user needs, developing product requirements, user stories, or technical specifications that were successfully built and shipped Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and/or lighting controls Familiarity with FDD, condition-based maintenance, and asset health scoring methodologies Understanding of building automation protocols and how telemetry data flows from field devices to analytics platforms Exposure to CMMS/FSM platforms and how they integrate into broader facility operations Exceptional ability to translate technical domain knowledge into clear, structured product requirements Benefits Bonus Company Overview Element Six is a specialist search partner for Energy & Infrastructure.
