[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

HARTING Technology Group is a leader in connectivity products and custom solutions, seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead field sales and OEM engagement in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. This remote role focuses on driving new business with OEM customers and developing distributor partnerships while engaging in technical discussions and relationship-building. Responsibilities Engage directly with OEM engineering, operations, and purchasing teams to identify new design opportunities and drive specification of HARTING solutions Lead technical customer discussions to uncover applications, influence design decisions, and support new product or technology adoption Lead sales growth across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California through a combination of OEM selling and distributor collaboration Strengthen relationships at distributor branches; collaborate on joint sales activities and opportunity development Conduct OEM customer visits to uncover new opportunities and provide technical guidance Deliver product and solution training to distributor sales teams Support distributor branch planning, business reviews, and performance follow-up Resolve customer or channel issues impacting sales performance Track and manage opportunities through CRM Collaborate with internal teams (Distribution Management, Product Management, Account Management) to align on sales strategy and execution Maintain a target account list and follow-up action plans Travel up to 50% within the region Skills 3+ years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in OEM, technical, channel/distribution, or other complex technology-driven sales environments Experience managing multi-step or complex sales cycles and working with technical stakeholders (engineers, operations teams, or technical buyers) Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills Bachelor's degree required, engineering or STEM CRM experience (SAP preferred) Benefits HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits Base Salary and Bonus Percentage This role is eligible for a 20% discretionary annual bonus Company Overview The HARTING Technology Group is a leading global provider of industrial connectivity.
