[Remote] NOC Analyst II

They are seeking a NOC Analyst II to monitor and maintain network and system performance, ensuring optimal uptime while also mentoring junior analysts. Responsibilities Monitor network and system performance using various monitoring tools and software Identify and troubleshoot complex network and system issues, escalating as necessary Perform and assist identification and troubleshooting of complex network and system issues, acting as a point of escalation as necessary Perform system and network device configurations and deployments, as coordinated with the Backup Specialists and Toolset Orchestration Specialists Maintain accurate documentation of network and system configurations and changes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions Monitor and respond to alerts and notifications generated by our network and system monitoring tools Provide timely and effective communication of network and system issues to internal and external stakeholders Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours incidents as needed Mentor and train Analyst I on network and system monitoring best practices Ensure Tickets are properly created and notated to account for time Manage personal workload and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met Additional duties as required Skills Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in network and system monitoring or related field Experience with network and system monitoring tools; ConnectWise Ticketing, OpenDNS, Kaseya VSA, and PRTG a plus Knowledge of advanced networking concepts such as load balancing, VPN, and firewalls Advanced understanding of server and operating system concepts, including Windows and Linux Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Benefits Mental health and leave support through our Employee and Family Assistance Program Financial wellness through company-matched 401(k)/RRSP plans Structured development through our Leadership Academy Monthly learning sessions Mentorship programs Learning reimbursements Internal career fairs Job shadowing Personalized career-pathing to support internal mobility Open communication to clear company goals Criminal and department of motor vehicles background checks and must meet Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements post-employment Company Overview VC3 is a managed service provider that serves governments, financial services institutions, and commercial firms.
