The National Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for evaluating and selling mortgage solutions, advising clients through the loan process, and achieving specific loan origination goals. Responsibilities • Responsible for the evaluation and selling of mortgage solutions throughout the United States • Advises clients on the home buying or refinance process while assisting through the loan process from application to closing • Engages with current and potential customers to educate and advise on how to best manage their mortgage finances • Required to achieve or exceed specific loan origination goals • Advises customers on U.S. Bank’s full product suite, providing the opportunity to make referrals to other areas within U.S. Bank Skills • High school diploma or equivalent • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E.
