[Remote] Key Account Manager, Product Assembly

The Key Account Manager, Product Assembly is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategic customers in the durable goods market, driving revenue growth and aligning customer objectives with the company's offerings. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic and multi-site customers Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with customer goals and company growth objectives Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at both plant and corporate levels Drive revenue growth by expanding product, service, and solution adoption within existing customers Identify opportunities to add new locations, applications, or service offerings Build and execute multi-year account growth plans focused on long-term partnerships Lead RFP, RFQ, and contract activities for assigned accounts Partner with internal teams to develop competitive pricing and value propositions Oversee contract execution, renewals, and expansion opportunities Coordinate efforts across sales, technical, service, and supplier teams to ensure consistent execution Align field resources to deliver on customer commitments Lead regular business reviews to communicate performance, value delivered, and future opportunities Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to support company objectives and customer expectations Skills Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of Key Account Management experience in an Industrial setting required Minimum of 3 years of experience selling into durable goods required Proven experience managing and growing complex or multi-site customer accounts Strong background in strategic account management, sales, or business development Experience leading RFPs, contract negotiations, and customer growth initiatives Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority Must have experience with adhesive technologies such as MMAs, epoxies, urethanes, silicones, MS polymer, sealants, UV cure, & cyanoacrylates You must have a growth-oriented mindset with strong business acumen, and excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills We are looking for a strategic thinker with the ability to turn opportunities into execution You must be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable owning outcomes Minimum of 8 years of sales experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits 401k Match Flexible and Team-Oriented work environment Generous PTO policy Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Career and talent development opportunities as well as opportunities for personal growth Company Overview Applied Products is a chemicals firm that provides hot melt adhesives and hot melt dispensing equipment.
