The role involves collaborating with analysts to assess processes and data, identifying requirements, and recommending solutions for data reporting and visualization tools. Responsibilities Work on a collaborative team of process, data, and systems analysts to assess current processes, data, and system maturity and support recommendations for integration and automation Identify data requirements and responsibilities as directed by customer Evaluate data reporting and visualization tools (i.e., dashboards) and customer relationship management systems to provide real time tracking of hiring actions for use by service providers and customers; and recommend the best solution Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers Analyzes supplier performance data from internal and external sources and supports data aggregation for scorecard metric calculation display Works with data analytic software and methodologies Analyzes data analytic tools, models, methods, and techniques to identify and demonstrate trends in financial data Develops recommendations for process improvements, category management, and other potential acquisition strategies Conducts ongoing surveillance of awarded contracts and delivery orders to ensure on-time delivery of supplies and acceptable performance of services Communicates delivery delays to internal stakeholders to facilitate decisions regarding supply posture, order release strategy, and readiness driver mitigation Ensures accuracy of cost and target award dates against the spend plan Skills Active Secret Clearance 3 years' experience mining data as a data analyst Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations Preference is for someone who understands Army acquisition process Experience in LMP, PADDs, PCF, APAS Benefits Free Health Care from Aetna Dental Coverage Vision Coverage Paid Time Off 401K Employer Paid Group Life Flexible Spending Accounts Professional Development Training Company Overview Defense Acquisition Support Services, LLC (DAS) is a small woman owned Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) business established in 2007.
