They are seeking a Data Analyst to create insightful reports, perform comprehensive data analysis, and enhance data management processes using Microsoft Dataverse and other platforms. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to various stakeholders Architect scalable data models and optimized queries for large datasets, including data from Microsoft Dataverse Collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate Power BI with other business systems Create and optimize data models in Power BI, including the design of data relationships, calculated columns, and measures to support effective data analysis Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within Power BI and Microsoft Dataverse limitations Leverage and implement new data visualizations through alternative technologies & techniques Create reliable and transparent data pipelines to power analytics Maintain and optimize data source connections, leveraging the data flow and/or data gateways Utilize SQL, Python, or R programming to extract and manipulate data from relational databases Employ R or Python to extract information from APIs and integrate it into the data ecosystem Collaborate closely to promote data consistency and integrity Assist with triage of data requests and fulfill requests in a timely manner with minimal guidance once fully onboarded Assist with the refinement of key performance indicators and support the implementation of consistent data definitions Ensure business intelligence products reflect TPG brand identity and provide rich insights Develop ad hoc and ongoing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Python, R, or other tools as appropriate, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and advanced statistical skills Provide peer review and guidance to other analytics staff, fostering a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure that reporting solutions meet business needs Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy Document report development processes, data models, and best practices to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field 5+ years experience working Power BI, including expertise in DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals Excellent knowledge of data cleaning and validation principals and techniques Experience developing data collection and reporting systems Data software and statistical programming experience, including expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, R, Python, DAX, and Power Query Experience in Microsoft Dataverse, including data integration, data management, and configuration Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus Knowledge of SQL and experience with other databases or data warehouses Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query M language Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Be able to handle a fast-paced environment Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, & Teams Ability to type 45 wpm Complete a rigorous culture and competency testing process Complete a Drug Test Must be at least 21 years of age A valid US Driver's license Have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance Must be a U.S Citizen Residency requirement - 3 cumulative years in the last 5 years Must be able to lift and carry IT equipment weighing 50 pounds Must have mobility to attend meeting with other managers and employees Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time Company Overview The Providencia Group provides human services, program management, training/technical assistance, and application development services.
