The Commercial Strategy and Analytics Manager will support the transformation of the commercial organization through customer segmentation, sales strategy, and analytics, requiring strong technical and analytical skills. Responsibilities Drive commercial strategy through Commercial analytics, executive reporting, and market insights that identify growth opportunities, client trends, and areas of strategic focus Building scalable dashboards, performance metrics, and account intelligence frameworks that support commercial decision-making across Client Success and cross-functional stakeholders Analyzing and synthesizing market, client, adoption, and revenue data to deliver actionable insights and forward-looking business recommendations Conducting market sizing, segmentation, whitespace, and competitive analysis to support strategic planning and prioritization Help refine and scale commercial operations by Partnering cross-functionally with Client Success, Sales, Finance, Product, Business Intelligence, and Data teams to improve alignment across forecasting, planning, and commercial priorities Designing and operationalizing standardized reporting, analytics frameworks, and planning methodologies that improve consistency and scalability across teams Driving adoption and enablement of dashboards, tools, and analytics capabilities to improve visibility, decision-making, and execution Continuously improving reporting workflows, data quality, and insight delivery processes to support operational efficiency and business impact Improve commercial planning and business performance by Supporting forecasting and demand planning processes through accurate, insight-driven analytics and standardized inputs Monitoring commercial performance trends, client engagement signals, and revenue pacing to proactively identify risks and opportunities Developing methodologies and tracking mechanisms that measure business performance, account health, and strategic progress Translating analytics into clear recommendations and action plans that support client growth, commercial performance, and operational priorities Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Technology, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; 15 years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial strategy, business intelligence, revenue operations, analytics, management consulting, or a related role Experience supporting commercial planning, forecasting, account strategy, client success operations, and/or revenue performance initiatives Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting commercial, client, operational, and financial data to drive business decisions and strategic recommendations Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics that support executive decision-making Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights, action plans, and business recommendations Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, commercial performance tracking, and operational planning processes Experience partnering cross-functionally with proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams in a fast-paced environment Strong project management, communication, and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously Experience improving operational processes, reporting workflows, and analytics adoption across organizations Master's Degree in relevant field Company Overview Datavant protects, connects, and delivers the world’s health data to power better decisions and advance human health.
