[Remote] Accounts Payable Associate

Kforce Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support a high-volume AP function within a fast-paced, fully remote environment. The role involves processing a large volume of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial transactions within a large ERP system. Responsibilities Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Enter, review, and validate invoice data within a large ERP system Perform two-way or three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts Manage AP inbox and vendor communications, responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes Reconcile vendor statements and investigate invoice or payment discrepancies Assist with payment processing including ACH, wire transfers, and check runs Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues Identify and support process improvement initiatives within AP workflows Skills Bachelor's degree 2 years of AP experience Large ERP system experience Benefits Medical/dental/vision insurance HSA FSA 401(k) Life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees Salaried personnel receive paid time off Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave Company Overview Kforce is a solutions firm specializing in technology, finance and accounting, and professional staffing services.
