The role of Account Manager involves growing the business and strengthening customer relationships by providing tailored solutions and promoting products to clients. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers Identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that add value Perform cost-saving analysis to improve customer outcomes Drive new business by promoting our product line to prospective and current clients Troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges quickly and effectively Evaluate and qualify customer creditworthiness Stay informed on market trends and regional sales opportunities Prepare reports and track performance metrics Manage accounts receivable to ensure healthy business operations Participate in month-end inventory processes Take on additional responsibilities that support team and business success Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field At least 3 years of outside sales experience in the building industry, concrete form products preferred (but not required) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and similar tools) Background in manufacturing Familiarity with UFP's products, culture, or organization Benefits Bonus/Incentive Pay The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
