[Remote] Account Executive (MRI-Simmons)

As an Account Executive within the Agency team, you will support the growth of client partnerships by evangelizing MRI-Simmons solutions and delivering exceptional client service while driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Responsibilities Develop deep expertise across the full suite of MRI‑Simmons products in order to deliver best‑in‑class client support Build and maintain positive, trusting, and collaborative relationships with assigned clients Serve as the day‑to‑day client contact, coordinating ongoing support and account needs Lead and coordinate account reviews, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) Drive revenue growth through upselling and expansion of MRI‑Simmons solutions and building/expanding relationships with key agency departments Strategy, Research, Media, Planning, Investment Coordinate and deliver client training on MRI‑Simmons software, data, and activation products Communicate effectively with clients in both written and verbal formats, delivering a consistently high level of service Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and internal teams to identify and execute on revenue‑generating opportunities Stay current on client initiatives to ensure successful delivery, follow‑up, and development of case studies Leverage MRI‑Simmons data to align with client strategies, identify new business opportunities, participate in client meetings, and deliver actionable insights Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, customers, and objectives—and how MRI‑Simmons solutions can support them Create insightful presentations that educate clients on MRI‑Simmons capabilities, data assets, and resources Prepare integrated, research‑based presentations and proposals that position MRI‑Simmons as a strategic consultant and partner Partner with Sales Account Directors to identify strategic opportunities using a combination of industry insights and MRI‑Simmons data Skills 3-5 years of sales/account management experience within market research, advanced advertising, media, or a related industry (syndicated and/or custom research experience preferred) Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to build relationships and apply consultative selling techniques Ability to present, synthesize, and tell a compelling story with data Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills Solid business acumen, problem-solving ability, and analytical mindset Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field Working knowledge of syndicated consumer data and the programmatic space Benefits Comprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental, and vision) Flexible spending accounts and a Health Savings Account (including company contributions) Life and AD&D insurance 401(k) retirement plan including company matching contributions Disability insurance Tuition Reimbursement Discretionary paid time off program and 11 paid holidays Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) Sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus Industry-leading parental leave Education support Company Overview NielsenIQ is a consumer intelligence company that offers retailers and consumer goods manufactures.
