Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in software testing processes, automation, test framework development and application testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mobile/native application testing and technical proficiency in JavaScript/Java. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing Mobile test plans, scripts, and ensuring the overall quality of our applications

 

Key Responsibilities:

•         Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile application testing including execute smoke, functional, regression, and integration testing processes

•         Design, create, and maintain automated test frameworks using Appium/WebDriver IO framework.

•         Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and address application issues.

•         Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

•         Work with supporting tools experience like Cucumber/Test Ng/Junit.

•         Manage testing processes using GitHub, JIRA, and other DevOps tools.

•         Ensure all testing activities are conducted according to established standards and methodologies.

•         Contribute to the improvement of the test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline integration.

•         Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

•         Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile testing and automation.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•         5-7 years of experience in Mobile testing, including hands-on experience with Appium/WebdriverIO.

•         Proficiency in JavaScript / Java .

•         Experience in mobile testing and mobile test automation using Cucumber/TestNg/Junit.

•         Experience in functional test creation and test executions.

•         Understanding of version control systems (GitHub) and project management tools (JIRA).

•         Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

•         Experience in Github Actions/Jenkins/Browserstack/Sauce Labs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•         Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for running mobile automation.

•         Basic understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript / Java/Python.
