QA Tester / Analyst - Remote SaaS Company

Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy QA Tester / Analyst to join our fast-growing remote team. As a part of an innovative SaaS company, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining product excellence through testing and quality assurance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues to ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Identify, track, and report software bugs and inconsistencies using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across various platforms and environments.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile development environment.

  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to development teams and contribute to continuous product improvement.

  • Maintain and improve automated test suites to ensure maximum coverage and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and explain issues concisely.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Tester, QA Analyst, or similar role.

  • Previous experience working with SaaS products or cloud-based platforms is highly desirable.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with core collaboration time (typically 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST).

  • Fully remote, work-from-anywhere setup with team communication across time zones.

  • Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning capabilities.
