Overview

The Projects and Continuous Improvement Manager (Europe) is part of a small team covering Europe and IMEA who are responsible for leading people related initiatives with organizational impact across a regional scope. This person will manage HR workstreams for organizational change projects in Europe whether that's a launch of a new warehouse, the implementation of a new system or a continuous improvement initiative. Critical will be ensuring strong collaboration across key stakeholders, on-time execution and building new processes and playbooks as well as influencing global projects with local European knowledge.

This role will require European travel

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the people function e.g. global solutions teams, regional SME's, operational People function leaders, to ensure Europe is delivering all 'heartbeat', change and growth initiatives in the HR Master Plan
  • Primary regional point of contact to lead HR critical workstream activities within global projects and in regional transformation projects, working across functions
  • For projects, lead in a way that ensures all activities are 'joined up', customer back and value generating in the business, being the link between design and operational delivery.
  • Experienced and capable to lead customer implementations for new and existing customer and building launches, coaching local HR colleagues in best practices for successful launches.
  • Drive excellent project management disciplines in all initiatives.
  • Own data quality and reporting for the Region ensuring collaboration between the people, data and analytics team and local HR colleagues.
  • Working effectively with HR IT and Tech on relevant projects.
  • Lead regional HR projects with organizational impact
  • Provide local knowledge and feedback on people and culture
  • Identify and document stranded processes and assess ownership
  • Work with local HR colleagues, identify CI opportunities to drive an improved employee experience and work with central teams to ensure the voice of local operations sites is included and appropriate improvements made


What we are looking for
  • A Project Manager with HR experience who can inspire and engage wider project teams to deliver
  • Experience leading programmes or projects in an operational environment
  • Programme and project management skills
  • Analytical thinking with a strong bias for data and metrics
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management
  • A deep understanding HR processes and HR IT particularly WorkDay
  • Experience with lean, process management and/or design thinking
  • Ability to drive initiatives across geographies balancing conflicting stakeholders' needs
  • Proactive and collaborative
  • Ability to translate complex issues into pragmatic solutions and easy-to-understand language.
  • Able to travel in Europe as needed, on average once a quarter
