Program Manager – Contracts & Proposals
<p>UpSlope is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic <span style="font-weight: bold">Program Manager</span> to lead and manage the lifecycle of contracts and proposals. This role will be responsible for overseeing pre-award activities, managing contract transitions, and ensuring effective post-award contract administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a deep understanding of government and commercial contracting processes.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Key Responsibilities:</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Proposal Management (Pre-Award):</span></p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and submission of proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.</li> <li>Coordinate proposal teams, timelines, and deliverables across departments.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and internal standards.</li> <li>Support pricing strategy and cost volume development in collaboration with finance and technical teams.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>Contract Transition & Implementation:</span></p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute transition plans for newly awarded contracts.</li> <li>Facilitate kickoff meetings and ensure alignment between client expectations and internal execution.</li> <li>Monitor onboarding activities, staffing, and resource allocation during transition phases.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>Contract Management (Post-Award):</span></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for contract administration and compliance.</li> <li>Track deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Manage modifications, extensions, and renewals in coordination with legal and finance.</li> <li>Maintain contract documentation and ensure audit readiness.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>Qualifications:</span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).</li> <li>5+ years of experience in program management, contract administration, or proposal development.</li> <li>Familiarity with federal contracting (FAR/DFARS) and/or commercial contracting practices.</li> <li>Strong project management and organizational skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>Preferred Skills:</span></p> <ul> <li>PMP or equivalent certification.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills.</li> </ul>
