Job Description

As an Online YouTube Content Reviewer at Google, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of the YouTube platform. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, including videos, comments, and live streams, to ensure compliance with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and policies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong judgment, and the ability to make consistent decisions under pressure. You will contribute to our ongoing efforts to protect users from harmful or inappropriate content, fostering a positive environment for our global community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review a high volume of user-generated content (videos, comments, thumbnails, live streams) across various categories and formats.
  • Apply YouTube's Community Guidelines and internal policies consistently to identify and take appropriate action on violative content.
  • Categorize content accurately based on policy violations and escalating complex cases to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate feedback for policy improvements and tool enhancements.
  • Stay informed about current events, cultural trends, and evolving content landscapes to ensure effective content moderation.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to maintain a high standard of content quality and safety.
