We are looking for a MICE Team Lead to join our team here in Barcelona.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated MICE Team Leader to join our growing Perk Events team. In this role, you will lead a team of 6-8 MICE Specialists/Coordinators focusing on operational excellence and consistent execution in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role by focusing on the constant skill development of your junior team members and helping them achieve their operational and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Engage your Team: Act as a leader for 6-8 MICE Specialists, conducting structured weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews to drive continued success in target achievement and deal closure.

  • Develop Junior Talent: Create and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to rapidly train new salespeople and specialists for success in high-volume environments.

  • Operational Excellence: Establish and optimise scalable processes for your team to handle RFPs, phone calls, and email queries from existing and potential customers in a timely manner.

  • Performance Management: Set monthly development objectives and performance metrics tailored to early-career professionals, identifying individual training needs for constant skill development.

  • Consultative Mentorship: Act as a consultant to your direct reports, providing suitable options and suggestions to meet customer event or group travel requirements based on an in-depth understanding of Perk products.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with AMs to increase pipeline of Events opportunities and work with Builders to help shape the automation tools your team use every day.

  • Training & Enablement: Design and deliver targeted training sessions specifically for high-volume scenarios, using tools like role-playing and pitch
