Mechanical Engineer

  • Keeping the project on schedule.
  • Liaise with supplier/vendor/contractors/customer with acknowledgement of direct superior
  • Liaise with purchaser for procurement process including RFQ, PR, PO tracking in order to meet project timeline
  • Ensure the material to be onsite as per target date
  • Prepare schedule for the flawless execution of assigned projects
  • Site coordination among consultant, client, supplier, vendor and contractor
  • Communicate with client/owner/end user effectively with proper understanding by interpret their needs and requirement
  • Attend and participate any site meeting daily / weekly / monthly with client / owner / end user by delivering up to date project progress
  • Plan, coordinate and compile engineering design work with client /designer / consultant / contractor
  • Liaise with CAD drafter for engineering drawing preparation
  • Prepare site progress report as per project requirement
  • Prepare Method of Statement for the site work
  • Lead, coordinate site supervisors and contractors
  • Act as QA/QC person in charge to ensure and maintain good quality control in every aspect of the project by involve in Inspection Test Plan development, QA/QC documentation work and site inspection
  • Plan and arrange for testing and commissioning of the project to meet specification and requirement
  • Troubleshoot problems arise on a project
  • Coordinate with site safety supervisor to ensure workplace is safe and approved for work
  • Ensure all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws
  • Prepare handover documents once the project completion
  • Liaise with project admin/controller for issuance of invoice on time
