Measurement Worker

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the submission of expired measuring instruments for calibration.
  • Inspect, verify, and calibrate the company’s measuring instruments, including both planned and newly added instruments (such as pressure gauges, volumetric flasks, thermometers, pressure transmitters, on-site display instruments, etc.).
  • Assist in arranging external verification and calibration for legally mandated measuring instruments, such as safety valves and weights, according to the schedule.
  • Update the inventory records of measuring instruments and devices.
  • Follow up on the verification work carried out by metrology administrators in various departments.
  • Carry out the replacement, restricted use, deactivation, and disposal of measuring instruments and devices.
  • Organize the documentation management of measuring instruments and devices, including instrument records and calibration certificate management.
  • Participate in inspections and spot checks of measuring instruments across departments.
  • Performing precise measurements and inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products using a variety of measurement tools and techniques.
  • Documenting and recording measurement data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and reporting any deviations from established quality standards.
  • Collaborating with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve measurement-related issues.
  • Maintaining measurement equipment and ensuring calibration is up-to-date.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma in Metrology or equivalent , with a strong background in mathematics and measurement practices.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar measurement instrument management, calibration and quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in using a variety of measurement tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
