Jewish Family Services is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve economic self-sufficiency and emotional stability. They are seeking a Marketing and Outreach Specialist to join their Resource Development team, focusing on digital communications and storytelling to amplify their mission within the Central Ohio community. Responsibilities Digital Content Management Plan, create, and execute engaging digital and social media content across platforms using established templates and brand guidelines Email Marketing Support email communications in MailChimp, driving the process from drafting and design through deployment Multimedia Storytelling Gather compelling stories from program staff, schedule photo/video shoots, and draft creative assets for newsletters, impact reports, and promotional campaigns Website & Material Maintenance Update website content for accuracy and accessibility, and ensure marketing materials are regularly reviewed, refreshed, and updated Event & Outreach Assistance Assist in promoting and supporting volunteer, internal, community, and corporate partner outreach events as needed Logistics & Material Management Inventory, organize, and prep outreach 'event bins' and promotional materials so we are always ready for community engagement Brand & Template Maintenance Build and maintain a robust library of marketing templates and regularly audit materials to ensure visual and brand consistency Partnership Coordination Monitor and engage with partner interactions online, manage recurring advertising placements, and coordinate annual community awards submissions Analytics Tracking Monitor digital engagement metrics and recommend data-driven strategy improvements Workflow & Project Coordination Manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills to meet deadlines Skills 1+ years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or a related field Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for visual and brand consistency Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Proficiency with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn Experience with website content management systems (CMS) Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience or background in social media strategy, graphic design, storytelling, or nonprofit marketing Photography and/or video editing skills Familiarity with Google Ad Grants (or a willingness to learn) An educational or professional background in digital communications, public relations, or advertising Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Company Overview Jewish Family Services is a social service agency that supports individuals and families with achieving economic self-sufficiency.
