Manager, Physical Security

Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Manager to support our APAC Enterprise Security team. This position will be responsible for all physical security operations for our offices in India.<br><br>This Mumbai based role will report to the APAC Enterprise Security Leader, based in Singapore. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our physical risk and security capabilities, keeping our people safe as well as optimizing preparedness and response to incidents. You will drive the implementation, development and deployment of a comprehensive physical security program, fostering collaborative relationships with Workplace, Content Risk Management, Talent, Legal, Comms and our GSOC amongst other cross-functional partners including the India Leadership Team.<br><br>You’re a thoughtful and tenured security expert with experience in developing regional corporate security requirements in a multinational company with a strong understanding of the local political landscape. You will be empowered to make things happen and have a natural inclination to work within a high-performance culture that is fast-paced and self-directed.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Articulate relevant security risks and provide guidance to cross-functional partners and Regional/Country leadership.</li><li>Maintain a proactive and strategic security approach when looking at business needs.</li><li>Ensure a baseline approach for the physical security program to help assess the risk to our locations, support selection and design of new facilities</li><li>Support the rollout of global Enterprise Security programs, projects, and initiatives effectively in India; with a focus on budget management, vendor management, and quality control </li><li>Manage and oversee access control security management, including coverage requirements, training, and post orders, where applicable</li><li>Work with our Security Technology team to deliver frictionless security solutions </li><li>Support, and lead country specific crisis/incident management, communications, and response</li><li>Respond to and support the investigation of security emergencies and incidents </li><li>Align & partner with the Content Risk management team to support publicity and Marcomm events as required </li><li>Leverage intelligence in the volatile geopolitical space to keep our workspaces and employees safe </li><li>Increase resilience across the business by developing innovative methods to engage employees as they relate to personal and travel risks </li><li>Develop and present security education awareness training programs</li><li>Strength and maintain collaborative external partnerships with local law enforcement, federal agencies, third-party vendors and community organizations<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>At least 10 to 15 years of experience with increasing scope, responsibility and complexity at a multinational company</li><li>Relevant degree/professional qualification in security or related field</li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading and managing through impactful incidents at both country and regional levels with senior stakeholders and decision makers</li><li>Ability to identify, analyze, and explain security initiatives and needs to stakeholder</li><li>Experience managing guarding contracts at the account level, and a proven track record of optimising deployments, and making risk based efficiencies </li><li>Event Security Management experience, leading high profile events in different markets/countries</li><li>Capable of adapting to and leaning in to risk independently with a self-starter mentality and drive results in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Demonstrated management experience in building, managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive significant business impact</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Fluent or business proficiency in English</li><li>A willingness to travel regionally in support of business objectives<br><br></li></ul>Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
