Machine Operator

Position Summary: A Machine Operator will run and maintain multiple Advantek machines. Operators must keep accurate records and follow all procedures pertaining to press operation to ensure that we uphold Advantek’s mission statement, “Provide high-value, precision component delivery solutions".

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates multiple Advantek machines according to the established procedures and work instructions of the pertinent operation and producing quality work set by the department in compliance with the quality goals of the organization.
  • Utilizes continuous visual inspection/observation of finished product ensuring that only good products pass through.
  • Enters barcodes and data in the inventory system; labels products and boxes accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensures a safe environment by reporting all safety related issues to immediate superior.
  • Maintains 5’S, safe keeping and utilizing the end rolls and ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance of the work area.
  • Authority to endorse STV, ADP, SFT, RFM, RFF, UPI, P2, PTT, and CPB machines back to technicians if not meeting desired working condition.
  • Authority to stop machine when there are unsafety issues or danger present.
  • Authority to accept or scrap any product per defined specifications.
  • Participates in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem solving and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces and project teams.
  • Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and / or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Machine Operators must possess strong organizational skills to keep up with the demand of running multiple presses. Teamwork and communications skills are required to ensure a cheerful environment. Basic math skills are helpful for ensuring correct order quantities.
  • Education: At least Highschool graduate
  • Experience: At least one year manufacturing industry experience in operator capacity

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
