Job Description
Seeking a qualified individual with a law degree, paralegal certification, or significant legal background to assist in preparing and submitting formal complaints and reports regarding police, judicial, and lawyer misconduct, with an emphasis on violations of federal civil rights.
The candidate will draft submissions and directly contact the appropriate federal agencies, oversight bodies, or national advocacy groups to advocate for investigation and corrective action on my behalf.
*Responsibilities: - Draft and submit clear, professional complaints, letters, and reports documenting incidents of misconduct, particularly concerning violations of federally protected civil rights.- Submit these reports to federal agencies (such as the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, or other relevant bodies), as well as national civil rights or legal advocacy organizations.
- Identify and contact appropriate oversight bodies, professional boards, or organizations able to address federal civil rights concerns.
- Represent the client's interests accurately and confidentially in all communications.
- Track submissions, maintain records, and follow up on responses or investigative actions as needed.
- Direct knowledge of, or experience with, federal civil rights law, legal ethics, or misconduct reporting highly preferred.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Commitment to client confidentiality, accuracy, and ethical standards.
