The Opportunity We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team, with a genuine interest in building a career in the hedge fund industry.

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on exposure to trading, analytics, and operations from an early stage. You will be given real responsibility, a steep learning curve, and the chance to develop quickly in a high-performance environment.

  1. ResponsibilitiesTrading Analytics Maintain and enhance trading analytics, tools, and models
  2. Improve data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytics workflows
  3. Support the development and deployment of quantitative strategies
  4. Assist with market data analysis and reporting
  5. Operations Run and monitor key operational processes, including:
  6. Daily reconciliations and investigation of trade breaks
  7. End-of-month (EOM) investor reporting
  8. Liaising with brokers, counterparties, administrators, and service providers
  9. Respond to operational queries and resolve issues efficiently
  10. Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement automation
  1. Skills & ExperienceCore Requirements Strong Python development skills
  2. Experience building or working with data pipelines and workflows
  3. Basic SQL knowledge
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  5. Excellent attention to detail
  6. A proactive, hardworking approach
  7. Up to two years' experience using Python
  8. Desirable Interest in or exposure to commodity, power, or gas markets
  9. Experience in trading, analytics, or modelling environments
  10. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
  11. Candidate Profile Bright, curious, and motivated to learn
  12. Interested in financial markets and the hedge fund industry
  13. Technically minded with a passion for automation and efficiency
  14. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
  15. Takes ownership and looks for ways to improve processes
  16. Enjoys working closely with a small team and contributing across multiple areas of the business
