IT Helpdesk Support - Night Shift (Delhi-Based)

Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our team for a night shift position based in Delhi. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, and ensure the smooth running of IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for internal staff and external clients facing IT challenges and will play a critical role in maintaining high levels of productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support and assistance for all IT-related issues through phone, email, or live chat.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, network, and peripheral devices.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians or appropriate departments as necessary.

  • Monitor and respond to service requests in a timely manner, maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Document support activities in the IT helpdesk system and track incidents and resolutions.

  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to software, systems, and hardware.

  • Ensure all IT equipment is functioning properly and resolve issues that may affect employee productivity.

  • Assist in setting up new workstations, including hardware and software installations.

  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT troubleshooting techniques.

  • Collaborate with other team members to improve overall IT support processes and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a helpdesk or technical support capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as familiarity with Linux.

  • Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and IT management software.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering solutions that meet user needs.

  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols and principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a helpdesk role.

  • Experience working with both hardware and software troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Night Shift (Delhi time zone).

  • Shift hours may vary, but typically will be from 7 PM to 4 AM.

  • Flexibility required to accommodate shift rotations and potential overtime during peak periods.
