Inventory Clerk

As the Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory locations and supplies, such as parts, equipment, and tools for the Engineering (Maintenance) Department.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  2. Represent Westgate Resorts professionally at all times.
  3. Perform room inspections and input data into HOTSOS, balancing this with inventory expectations.
  4. Safeguard Westgate Resorts\' property and inventory.
  5. Handle receiving, handling, and accounting of inventory stock.
  6. Issue supplies, materials, and equipment to engineering team members.
  7. Complete paperwork for items issued to team members.
  8. Maintain and update labeling systems for inventory items.
  9. Maintain inventory levels for each stocked item, ensuring they do not fall below minimum levels.
  10. Conduct weekly inventory counts and maintain tracking systems for stocked items and power tools.
  11. Organize and maintain all engineering inventory locations.
  12. Receive delivered supplies, verify them against purchase orders, and inspect for quality.
  13. Participate in physical inventory counts as needed, typically annually.
  14. Coordinate with the purchasing department for supply acquisitions.
  15. Prepare and submit order acquisition forms to the purchasing coordinator.
  16. Provide coverage for the Purchasing Coordinator during vacations or absences, processing requisitions via Oracle Fusion.
  17. Perform other reasonable requests as directed.
  18. Work hours will vary based on business needs.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. One year of related experience or training required.
  2. One to two years of technical training or maintenance technician experience preferred.
  3. Minimum of two years of computer skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
