Finance Manager (supporting OTR and Factoring)

<p><u><b>Job Summary:</b></u><br>Our team at WEX is seeking a self-driven and motivated FPA Manager to oversee the OTR and Factoring line of business, supported by two FPA Analysts.</p><p></p><p><u><b>Performance Objectives:</b></u></p><ul><li>Be an integral part of WEX’s monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and budgeting processes and manage the preparation & analysis of the income statement for the Over the Road (OTR) and Factoring businesses.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with peers in the finance organization; support the Director of OTR & Factoring, as well as the Senior Director of US Mobility.</li><li>Respond to requests for financial information from internal customers and work collaboratively with the sales team to provide pricing to current and prospective customers.</li><li>Drive improved and simplified processes and data analytics to support the business. </li><li>Support key FP&A functions including related performance reporting, departmental expenses analysis, results reporting, variance analysis; benchmarking and analytical reporting.</li><li>Provide insight and guidance to the Director of OTR & Factoring and the Senior Director of US Mobility in relation to risks, opportunities, and other elements of emergent activities or current activities that are off track.</li><li>Maintain an awareness of global economic trends that affect the company such as growth rates, interest rates, exchange rates and fuel prices.</li><li>Assist in analysis and preparation of financial information for quarterly earnings communications to the Board of Directors and investment community.</li><li>Manage and develop a team of analysts and interns, coaching them to success.</li><li>Other ad-hoc projects and analysis as necessary such as M&A, Periodic reports and analyses as required for the management team, presenting and recommending suggestions regarding internal issues/alternatives.</li></ul><p><br><u><b>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities </b></u></p><ul><li>At least 5 years of significant financial management experience required in high-growth, technology focused organizations.</li><li>Proven ability to work closely with sales personnel and internal management.</li><li>Support the delivery and creation of financial performance management reports, scorecards with appropriate operating KPIs that drive financials and insights.</li><li>Interfacing with multiple levels of associates, management, and internal executives.</li><li>Working across a matrix organization, including influencing and interfacing with multiple team members in differing functions.</li><li>SOX / Listed Company reporting responsibilities. </li><li>Reporting of actuals, forecasting and budgets.</li><li>Analytical and financial modeling experience.</li><li>Financial systems experience, including ERP systems and consolidation for corporate systems. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and other ERP is a must. </li><li>Must possess very strong communication, organizational and presentation skills.</li><li>Must pass a successful background investigation</li></ul><p></p><p></p>The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
