Position Summary:

You will work with the Corporate Secretarial Team based in Singapore to advise Singapore companies, on their compliance and governance, including providing advisory on their corporate transactions. This position helps to ensure that the foreign companies, including China/Hong Kong companies coming into Singapore will comply with Singapore laws and adopt good governance practices. The individual will also assist to perform on-going client continuance procedures as part of the risk management within the business unit.

Corporate Secretarial Manager (KL)We are expanding and seeking an experienced Corporate Secretarial Manager to lead our Kuala Lumpur team. This role combines client portfolio management, people leadership, and a functional office‑management responsibility, with a strong focus on quality, governance and team development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of Singapore companies
  • Deliver high‑quality corporate secretarial and advisory services in compliance with Singapore Companies Act
  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards, timelines and internal quality standards
  • Lead, mentor and develop the KL corporate secretarial team, fostering a strong review-and-coaching culture
  • Act as the functional Office Manager for the team, overseeing operations and team well-being
  • Lead departmental initiatives and ad‑hoc projects as required
  • Support onboarding and integration of new hires within the KL
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, SOPs, and service level expectations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Accountancy, Law, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably within a professional services or shared services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore Companies Act and corporate governance practices
  • Proven experience leading or supervising teams, ideally in a hybrid delivery model
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with onshore teams
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to manage complex matters independently
