Job Summary

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service and as a Central Quoting Sales Coordinator, this means: (1) Virtually communicating project and product updates to customers and vendors, (2) Reviewing project plans and preparing for next steps, and (3) Promoting a safe and secure work environment by verifying permits (e.g. water heaters).

The Central Quoting Sales

Coordinator supports Project Specialists by managing project details as well as creating and processing project documents and transactions and ensuring customer engagement throughout the sales cycle. To be successful, this associate must be comfortable managing projects, raising concerns or potential areas of risk during a project, and communicating effectively to key stakeholders.

Remote Work Requirements: Internet speed has a minimum 20mb/s download, 5mb upload according to your service agreement and speed tests. These minimum bandwidth requirements are to ensure the voice over IP phone software, required software usage, and Team video conferencing can work properly

Job Description

  • Customer Service
  • Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
  • Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions
  • Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
  • Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
  • Builds relationships with customers, Lowe’s employees, installers, and vendors
  • Calls prospects to qualify leads
  • Calls customers to schedule and coordinate in-home sales projects and to confirm satisfaction with those projects
  • Calls customers to provide and/or obtain updates on proposals and promotional offers
  • Assists with training, mentoring, and coaching of new employees, at times
  • Reviews, updates, and responds to action items in the order management system (e.g., due file reconciliation, customer comments, necessary follow-up by sales associate)
  • Contacts vendors on all past-due Special Order Sales (SOS) orders for update
  • Communicates with those involved in product issues and follow-ups when necessary
  • Reviews job folders and project plan builds to ensure all required documents are included and properly completed
  • Maintains current installer listings
  • Verifies permits or applications for permits (e.g., water heaters)
  • In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 1- 3 years' experience in a customer facing role.
Preferred Skills/Education
  • 2 Years Experience coordinating/managing projects for consumers (or 5 years of experience coordinating/managing projects for consumers.
  • Experience working in Installed Sales
  • Experience working in a cross-functional work environment
