Job Description
Responsibilities
- Teaching according to the educational needs up to IGCSE, including the appropriate setting, delivering the lesson and marking of work to be carried out by the students
- Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, handouts, setting tests and examination papers
- Observe and evaluate student's performance. Ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students, which meets internal and external quality standards
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Create a positive educational climate for the student to learn in
- Ensuring a safe, secure and healthy environment for students
- Updating professional knowledge and expertise as appropriate to keep up to date with developments in teaching practice and methodology, in general, and the curriculum area of the related subjects
- Preparing and regularly updating subject materials
- Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises
- Organising and participating in social, cultural activities and school events
- Perform administrative duties such as serving as department head
- Perform other related duties assigned
Education Background
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Education/ Teaching/Training, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing Commerce or equivalent or higher.
