Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Teaching according to the educational needs up to IGCSE, including the appropriate setting, delivering the lesson and marking of work to be carried out by the students
  2. Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, handouts, setting tests and examination papers
  3. Observe and evaluate student's performance. Ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students, which meets internal and external quality standards
  4. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
  5. Create a positive educational climate for the student to learn in
  6. Ensuring a safe, secure and healthy environment for students
  7. Updating professional knowledge and expertise as appropriate to keep up to date with developments in teaching practice and methodology, in general, and the curriculum area of the related subjects
  8. Preparing and regularly updating subject materials
  9. Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises
  10. Organising and participating in social, cultural activities and school events
  11. Perform administrative duties such as serving as department head
  12. Perform other related duties assigned

Education Background

Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Education/ Teaching/Training, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing Commerce or equivalent or higher.
