Business Analyst / Software Tester

Job Title: Business Analyst / Software Tester
Company: Fruition Technology Incorporated
Location: Remote (Canada)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About Fruition Technology Incorporated

Fruition Technology Incorporated is an innovative technology company building next-generation solutions for media creators and faith communities. We are currently developing two flagship products — an AI-powered sermon video clipping platform and VerseCast, a worship presentation and auto-translation platform that replaces tools like EasyWorship and ProPresenter.

We are a remote-first company passionate about technology that makes a real difference.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Software Tester to join our fully remote team. This is a dual role — you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery while ensuring both our products meet the highest quality standards before release.

You will also represent Fruition Technology at external client meetings, working directly with churches, ministries, and media teams to understand their needs and communicate our product capabilities.

This role reports directly to the Director.

What You Will Work On

Product 1 — AI Sermon Clip Platform
An AI-powered tool that automatically transcribes sermon recordings, identifies the most impactful moments, and produces short-form social media clips complete with captions and hashtags — ready for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Product 2 — VerseCast
A cross-platform desktop application replacing EasyWorship and ProPresenter. VerseCast features real-time voice recognition with automatic translation, multi-screen output, stage display, Bible verse lookup, motion video backgrounds, and NDI/broadcast output for OBS and vMix.

Your Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for both platforms
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories and technical specifications
  • Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with church administrators, media teams, and creative professionals
  • Attend external client meetings to gather feedback and represent the company professionally
  • Identify product gaps and recommend improvements aligned with business goals
  • Report on milestones, risks, and dependencies to the Director

Software Testing

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for both applications
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing
  • Test AI clip selection accuracy, transcription quality, captions, and MP4 export integrity
  • Test VerseCast features including voice translation accuracy, multi-screen sync, scripture display, and NDI output
  • Log and track defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Work closely with developers to verify fixes before each release
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in business analysis, software testing, or a related role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Comfortable attending virtual and in-person client meetings
  • Familiarity with QA tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar) is a plus
  • Interest in or experience with church/ministry technology is a bonus but not required

What We Offer

  • Fully remote position
  • Monthly salary (competitive, based on experience)
  • Direct access to leadership — you report straight to the Director
  • Be an early contributor to two innovative products shaping media and worship technology
  • Professional development opportunities
