Bilingual Spanish Speaking Debt Collector - *UNCAPPED COMMISSION* $15/hour base and Uncapped Commission - Average Reps earn $20–$30/hour McCarthy, Burgess & Wolff, Inc We are seeking a motivated and professional Bilingual Debt Collector to join our team. In this role, you will contact individuals and businesses to recover overdue payments, negotiate repayment plans, and provide clear information on payment options. You will maintain accurate records of all interactions and ensure compliance with federal and state collection laws. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to handle sensitive financial situations with professionalism. With 3+ years of collection experience. Key Responsibilities • Maintaining a debt collection queue using the support framework designed. • Achieving collection goals set by management. • Understanding and adhering to client guidelines • Initiating outbound calls • Accepting inbound calls • Locates and notifies customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone to solicit payment. • Maintains records of collection and status of accounts. • Locates and monitors overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems. • Records information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts. • Persuades customers to pay amounts due on credit accounts and negotiates with customers to determine the best repayment solution available. • Performs data entry, documentation, and maintenance of customer account(s) • Reads, comprehends, and adheres to any and all applicable ISO and client specific policies. • Complies with all State/Local and Federal laws governing collections. • UNCAPPED COMMISSION* Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
